Speedspace has been there from the beginning of the pandemic, supporting the needs of communities, businesses and government through the provision of isolation units, testing facilities and world-class buildings for public and private enterprise, as well as the healthcare sector.
Now, with the vaccination program underway and about to expand, we are leveraging our resources and space management solution expertise to provide modular buildings to support the successful rollout of the vaccine.
Our Branch in Port Elizabeth was contracted by the Nelson Mandela University to supply temporary prefabricated parkhomes that were converted to suit their specific requirements in preparation for the university’s vaccine program for their North campus in PE and George campus respectively.
The parkhome units were converted to suit the tertiary education institute’s unique specifications and fitted with roller shutter doors for easy access and acceptance of deliveries.
A total of seven 36sqm offices have been provided and will be rented until such time as the vaccine program has been completed successfully.
Speedspace will continue to support the fight against COVID-19 by doing what we do best — designing, manufacturing and delivering quality modular buildings for the specific needs of the private and public sector.
