Congratulations to our very own Tatjana Schoenmaker on winning a Gold Medal for TeamSA in a World Record time at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Her winning time of 2:18.95 makes her the fastest woman ever in the 200m breaststroke.
She has made us all incredibly proud and brought joy to us with her fantastic achievement. Her humility, work ethic and focus is an example to us all, and we at Speedspace wish to thank her for representing South Africa so well, both in and out of the pool.
She is a wonderful role model to children everywhere and we are grateful that she is proudly South African, as are we!
