Speedspace Builds Versatile Prefab School Hall in Lesotho for Multi-purpose Use

prefabricated building

Speedspace recently designed and constructed a specialised modular multi-purpose prefabricated building in Lesotho for use as a school hall that could also be used for other school events and functions.

In addition to it being a fully-functional and well-insulated school facility, the requirements in the initial brief called for it to be versatile enough to serve as an indoor sports facility.

We loved the challenge of this brief, and our design team was excited to produce a building that would be comfortable, dynamic and truly fully functional in the broadest sense of the word.

We designed and manufactured the multi-purpose school hall from the same prefabricated materials that we used in a recent project in the country involving the construction of a school at Pholihali Dam Village.

We managed to offer a solution that not only met the client’s requirements but surpassed their greatest expectations with regard to design, delivery and the incredibly swift turnaround time to execution, ensuring completion of the building before the first snowfall.

The 800 sqm facility, with an internal height of 8m, was completed within three months. This project once again highlights the flexibility of the Speedspace range of products as well as the ability to provide functional design solutions for the benefit of our customers.
